NuVant Systems Inc. is tenant of the Northwest Indiana Purdue Technology Center at 9800 Connecticut Drive, Crown Point, Indiana. The Purdue Technology Center is a 48,000 ft2 technology incubator developed by the Purdue Research Foundation. NuVant occupies 2000 ft2 of laboratory space and 500 ft2 of office space and is now planning an expansion. NuVant was founded in 1999 as an LLC and converted to a Delaware C-Corp. in 2002. NuVant is privately held by management and seed round investors.

NuVant develops and integrates catalysts and electrolytes for stationary and portable fuel cell electrode assemblies. NuVant has pending patents for inorganic fuel cell electrolytes operating between 250-400°C. NuVants patented array reactor technology provides a competitive edge by enabling precise, accurate parallel evaluation of electrode assembly components and fabrication methods under fuel cell conditions. Array technologies will also benefit the electrochemical energy storage, electro-synthesis and the electrochemical sensor industries through direct sales or R&D partnering.
