NuVant Systems Inc., a Delaware C-Corp founded in 1999, is located in Crown Point Indiana at the Purdue Technology Center.  NuVant is privately held by management and seed round investors.

The principal focus of NuVant is commercialization of portable fuel cells.  NuVant has current contracts with the Department of Defense and Department of Energy for delivery of methanol-powered fuel cells in 2012.  NuVant sponsors in-house R&D on intermediate temperature (~250-300°C) fuel cells (ITFCs) and has international patents issued and pending on ITFCs.  NuVant offers contract services to both private and public organizations in the area of fuel cell research and development.

NuVant has an existing revenue stream based on high performance electrochemical testing equipment (required in the fuel cell and battery R&D community) and electrode assembly fabrication equipment.
